Slow-motion hair flip

1. COPS and the infamous Simpson highway chase with the "white Bronco": The scene with Shrek, Puss and Donkey on KNIGHTS is a reference to both.
2. Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous: The announcer when the trio drives through Far-Far Away is reminiscent of a '80s television show hosted by Robin Leach.
3. Wheel of Fortune: Wheel of Torture.
4. Absolutely Fabulous: In the pre-ball red carpet scene, the announcer says that "the abs are fab", a reference to the television series often called Ab Fab.
5. Seinfeld: At the awkward dinner party that King Harold & Queen Lillian hold after Shrek & his bride's arrival in Far Far Away, Fiona's mom says: "Not that there's anything wrong with that."
6. Charlie's Angels: Prince Charming and Donkey (as the stallion) do the slow-motion hair flip.
7. The Price is Right: The whole "Let's do him Bob Barker Style" is a reference to Bob's plight to control the pet population at the end of each show.
8. Fawlty Towers: When the King makes noise when the Fairy Godmother appears on the balcony and his wife asks what he's doing, he limps in and blames the noise on his "crusade wound."
9. Hawaii Five-O: One of the trumpeters in the honor guard sent to Shrek & Fiona's house (so that they can deliver King Harold & Queen Lillian's invitation to the royal ball) briefly blasts the theme song to this 1960s CBS television hit.
10. The Beverly Hillbillies: As Shrek, Fiona & Donkey roll into Far Far Away, Donkey exclaims: "Swimming pools and movie stars!" A line that was also an aside in the theme song for "The Beverly Hillbillies" TV series.
11. Sanford & Son: When Donkey collapses his last words are "I'm coming Elizabeth".
